We love nature and want to protect our world. With this in mind, it is our duty to take a more conscious approach, starting with the products we make. We have made lots of changes to the materials we use, to lessen our environmental impact as we transition towards a more responsible and sustainable supply chain.
From Winter 2019, all our snow wear is made from Repreve® recycled fibres - a high performance fabric made entirely from recycled plastic bottles.
Our outerwear products are treated with a coating of DWR (Durable water repellent) to protect against the elements. DWR repels rain and snow and reduces the drying time of garments. DWR often contains PFC (perfluorinated compound) which can have harmful environmental impacts. We now use PFC-free DWR - protection without the toxic chemicals, on all our products from Winter 2019 onwards.
From Winter 2019, all our down is responsibly sourced. By committing and following the NSF Global Traceable down standard, we can ensure that all of our down filling is responsibly sourced and that all local animal welfare laws are followed.
As of Winter 2019, the cotton we use is 100% GOTS certified organic. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.
For our Yaletown collection, launching January 2020, we have used water based inks. These inks do not contain PVC or phthalates or any other toxic chemicals. They are formulated free from lead and other heavy metals and passed the Oekotex Class 1 standard meaning they are much safer to wear, as well as lasting longer. The vast majority have been approved for use on organic cotton garments by The Soil Association.

We aim to create snow wear that respects nature, not disrupt it.

Our new products have undergone advanced product testing to ensure a longer lifespan. We have extended our warranties from 1 to 5 years.
